- Copying DVD's Question
- Posted by What's In A Name? on October 12th, 2003
Hi
Are you able to make duplicate copies of a DVD with just one drive?
In other words, I am buying a notebook that has a combo DVD burner, CD
burner and DVD drive all in one.
Thanks.

Copy the contents to the hard drive then burn.
Otherwise you might have to continously swap disks all day long.
If it has a usb port, get an external cd and copy/burn from there.

Seeing as a DVD disc needs to be in a DVD drive, how will getting a USB CD be
any good?

A prog like Pinnacle Instant Copy can copy/reduce a double-sided DVD
to a HD then allow you to burn a copy to DVD-R etc.
