corrupted icons
Posted by Travis on September 22nd, 2006

I have install Windows Vista Tranformation Pack 5.5, installed
everything, kept it for about a month and missed Luna (Windows xp
default look) so I uninstalled it in safemode (the same way I
installed, to be safe (no pun intended)). I booted back into normal and
noticied that my icons are the same ones from the transformation pack.
It didn't restore them.

It did change the DLL files the icons are in, so I can't just change it
like that.

How do I fix those corrupted files? I tried TweakUI and stuff but it's
a icon file problem. Also when I change the Style from Windows Classic
to Windows XP (or any other) it still has the "Please wait" or
something when it does that from the vista pack.

www.windowsxlive.net if you don't know what it is.

Do I just have to re-install Windows, will that fix the problem, will
it overwrite my files? And will it make my hard drive smaller by
re-installing, or does it overwrite the system files.
