- COX Broadband increase in bandwidth

I recently saw a news story saying Cox was going to double the Internet
bandwidth they were providing.
Sure enough I ran that DSL reports test and got an over 3 meg download
result.
Anyone know why they did it ? And please don't tell they're just wonderful
folks. I fear it's precursor to a price increase.
