Hi,
Following on from a previous post I'm hoping someone can help. I have
d/loaded some free trojan removers which have worked well..I now have no
trojans on my computer (win98SE, IE6). However when i run the latest
CWShredder the following happens:
1. click fix....results in illegal operation:
CWSHREDDER caused an invalid page fault in
module CWSHREDDER.EXE at 017f:00403373.

2. Click "scan" only...results in the following found: CWS.bootconf and
CWS.svchost32.
3. click "next"
4. click "back"
5.click "fix". CWShredder scans and removes the offending entries.
6. When opening Shredder again and clicking on "fix", the illegal operation
shows again, and the offending entries are back!
In addition...when I run Spybot (latest updates) it finds coolwebsearch and
DSOExploit, but when I click on fix the program freezes after the prrogress
bar gets to the end. The same happens when run in "Safe Mode".
