- Defrag or check and repair disk
- Posted by Malcolm William Mason on September 5th, 2005
Hello All,
I am running Windows XP Pro
When performing maintenance, when one goes to my Computer , Drive C, D,
etc., Properties: should one check and repair the disk (C or D) or
Defrag as the first step... or does it matter.
Further is it practical (or Useful) to Defrag the same drive more than
once? It does appear to improve it.
Thank you,
Malcolm

Check/repair first, then defrag. And doing defrag more than once probably
won't be a significant change.

Madness takes its toll. Please have exact change.
