Dell Laptop Battery Charging
Posted by Mick on November 10th, 2006

Hi all,
I have a Dell Inspriron tm 1300 laptop, that I bought new in March
this year.
I only use it to hold a family tree, and family photos, so that I can take
it to other family to show them the tree and photos.

I have never set an internet connection and do not need to.

I only run the computer to update the file, or show the tree.

Problem is despite starting it with the power lead connected, it keeps
saying the battery is low and need charging.
I thought the battery would charge with the computer left running with the
power lead in?

If this is correct, how long should it be left on?

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Thanks for any input,
Mick.
