Hello:
Running XP.
I have to enter the "Path" to where I want a program to download some items
to.
I want it to the Desktop.
What is the path, please ?
Is it just-
C:\Desktop
C\Desktop
Or,... ?
Thank you,
Bob

you can also use Start>>Run>>type Sendto>>create shortcut and pick desktop.
If anyone wants to correct me as I have been using vista for a while now and
can barely envisage the xp screen

Manually entering the path is unusual in this day and age, are you
sure the "program" you are using dosen't have some type of "Browse"
option to select the path?
It's not possible for anyone else to give a definitive path for your PC.
But Try this:
Open "My Computer"
RIGHT click your "C" drive and select "Explore"
Then to the left will be a "Tree", navigate and locate your
Admin/Profile/All Users etc (all different on everyones PC).
Just follow the tree through "Documents and Settings" and
locate "Desktop". Once you've located Desktop....
RIGHT click on "Desktop" in the "Tree" and select "Properties"
The Properties dialog will open, and the path will be listed
under Location, and will look something like:
C:\Documents and Settings\<here will be path relevent to your PC>
