- Did the cold war end in Norway (or has it ended) ?
- Posted by Knut Arvid Keilen on September 21st, 2007
The year was 1983 and I had finished 3 months of recruitment service and was
assigned to Northern Norway.
The date was about October 10 and I met up at the airport (it was divided
into a civilian and a military terminal).
The military part did not had a building for "paperworks" regarding flights
at that time.
For some reason, although this was not my first trip on a plane, a female
officer (relatively low rank, but not lowest) decided to
just "tell about it".
I know about harassment and I have read and heard a bit as well. You do not
belive it before you experience it, first hand.
Big shock, indeed !
