- Digipen ADG-5000 driver
- Posted by rainyplace on July 20th, 2003
You've seen the ads in Sharpen image. Received a pen camera as a gift
and laid it aside. Recently I tried it out. Followed instructions to
a "t". When I hooked up the camera the "new device found" went into a
loop and installed 35 cameras in device manager but no driver. Looked
in driver file disk and under driver it's MT. Running Win98. Emailed
Aromaco the distributor and got no response. Should have called the
cemetery (you guessed it-the line was dead). Can anyone help me with
this driver problem Would appreciate it and welcome the sarcasm that
comes for the ride.

Nope.
The manufacturer appears to be Pretec.

Boot into Safe Mode and remove ALL of the associated
drivers from Device Manager.

Paul S and Mike you were of great help. I've done the ebay forum and
was called a cheapskate to a crybaby for being argumentative over a
bad deal. You belie the maxim: "The higher the IQ the more
sarcastic". I once purchased a product to clean my disk but it wiped
out important files and had to scramble to find the originals and
reinstall. Still a problem remains. The link was the right one
(heavens knows how you found it) and I installed it but I can't get to
what you would call handshake. After installation I plugged the
camera in and a box says: New USB device found and another box appears
"installing software" then it does it again and again to infinium. But
no handshake. If I work through the hardware installation and get to
the place where it says "have disk" then browse to where the driver is
located then press "OK" it won't accept it. That's where I'm stuck.
