- DNS Propagation
- Posted by someone on September 12th, 2004
Hi,
I switched hosting companies on my web site 5 days ago. I updated
the dns
servers with my domain manager. I have talked to many people around the
US and outside that are seeing my site from the new hosting company.
I am however, still seeing the site hosted from the old hosting company.
It is not a browser cache issue. I have two windows boxes, a mac and a
linux box all seeing the old site.
So my question is, am I just caught in an area where the dns info hasn't
been updated? Is there anything i can do to speed this up?
Thanks So Much!
John

Contact your ISP and see if they can manually purge it from the DNS cache.
