Dowloading email problem
Posted by Samuel Decalo on November 17th, 2003

I'm being kicked off OE in the middle of downloading a *specific*
email, and hence cannot access all the subsequent ones. Have never
experienced this before. Help anyone please, before I start bouncing...

Sam

Can you access your e-mail via your ISP's web site?
Read that e-mail, then delete it.

AT&T may be having problems. Have you contacted them?

Go to www.mail2web.com and deal with the offending email from there, then
you can delete it and get on with your life.

Sam, this happens to me too. My way around the problem is to use the
internet email service by my provider to get into my email box.
Then I delete all the emails I do not want to keep. It may be hard to
determine which is the offending email. Then, you can go back to outlook
express to download the other emails.

As well as the other suggestions; you could also use a different
program to view the mail on the server, and delete the one that's
causing the problem, if necessary.

I'm having the same problems. My ISP is AT&T Worldnet Service. How do I
find my way to the internet email service? I would love to VIEW all the
remaining emails in my address ... but don't know how to get to them. I
have a feeling it's a specific email also. I can download three (3)
messages ... I currently have 29 in there ... and after the third message,
it stops me and tells me that my server is interrupting the connection for
some reason. But I can't DETERMINE what's causing the connection to be
interrupted. Anyway, if you can help me, it sounds like the same problem
