- Dual layer burner ?

Is there anyway i can tell if my dvd burner will burn dual layer dvdrs.
Any software that will tell me.It is in my Sony laptop vaio and the model of
the burner is a Matshita UJ-820D.

I don't have a direct answer to your question, but it is doubtful that a
preassembled computer would come with a dual-layer capable DVD-/+R/W
drive... at least not yet.
