- E6850 in an ASUS P5B-E motherboard with P965 chipset
- Posted by LowlyEngineer on August 1st, 2007
I'm thinking of upgrading my ASUS P5B-E motherboard with Intel P965
chipset. I'd like to buy an E6850 processor, since they are now
cheaper than E6800s,
I currently overclock an E6700 in my motherboard. My
"processor clock" selection is 340 (I'm running the processor at
3.4Ghz), so I'm already running my fsb at 1360 Mhz.
Has anyone tried this combination before?
TIA
