Email/browser trouble
Posted by JJ on May 2nd, 2008

Hi all,

My PC has developed a problem sometime in the last couple of weeks. When
using my browser if I come across an email link and click on it, I get the
error message that the "...default mail client is not properly installed".
If I click on a web link there is no problem.
This happens with both IE and Firefox.

I tried re-installing Outlook and Word from the Office CD, but that didn't
help. I'm using IE v7 and Mozilla V2.0.0.14. No trouble with regular email
which uses Word as the default program.

Any ideas?

default, right ?

Yes it does, although I can't find a similar setting in Firefox. But like I
said, it does it with both browsers.
