I have been using OE6 with Quotefix and for some reason (even though OE6 is
my main news and email handler) it's starting up Thunderbird to open .eml
attachments. It asked me (OE) what program I wanted to use to open the file
and I choose OE w/Quote fix and it opened it in a very odd way and I now
want to figure out how I can change this and use a different program to
handle the attachment. I'm guessing it's something rather simple but I can't
remember what it is. Any help please?

IIRC, eml is just a text file which you can open in notepad and
copy/paste wherever. the extension (needless to say?) stands for
"email". from pre-web mail days.

I found the solution to viewing it just a few minutues ago (amazing what one
can do if they try harder) right click, properties, open using, etc...
opening it with ie7 worked fine actually

Oh and, I hate web mail too... I'm about to switch everything over to my
roadrunner acct, too annoying to click back and forth... but fortunately RR
has a half decent web mail option as well.
