Epson Perfection 4870 vs Nero Cover Designer

As I cannot find a Nero-specific group on either of my servers, I thought
I'd post here. I'm using the aforementioned scanner with a fully updated
Nero 6. I have an image (the actual CD artwork) I want to scan and print to
a printable CD using my R800.

The problem is this: - Firing up Cover Designer and selecting either
'select' or 'acquire' from the TWAIN sub-menu does nothing - and I mean
literally nothing: - no errors, no hard drive activity, nothing. The scanner
works with every other piece of software that has scanning capabilities that
I own, just not Nero.

I even installed it on my parents' system (they have an RX620 MFD) and it
wouldn't work there either.

I want to use CD because the software supplied with the printer is crap.

Any clues? Anyone got a similar scanner (i.e. a Perfection, it might work
with a ScanJet or CanoScan) and Nero and, if so, could they attempt to scan
into CD and see what happens? It's obviously a CD-specific issue.

Cheers

Miss T.

Scan the CD cover and save it to your desktop as a jpg. Open Nero Cover
Designer, right click on the blank template and select Insert> Image.
