- Erased Event Viewer entries
- Posted by The Babaloughesian on April 8th, 2005
Earlier today I opened the Event Viewer to the System section and nothing
was there except for the maybe dozen or so events that occurred after I'd
logged on a few seconds ago. Previously, there had been thousands of events
stretching back to December or perhaps earlier. I've no idea what would
cause it all to disappear like that. Is this info likely gone for good?

Right-click each of the three events and select "Properties".
You can change the size of the log file to your liking and/or check the box,
"Do not overwrite events (clear log manually)
Click "Apply", OK
