I don't have a boot.ini file but computer starts anyway. The problem is
that I receive a error message like this "Window Explorer has encountere
a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". The
technical detail goes something like this
"c:\docu~1\toy\local~\temp\we267\appcompat.txt " no idead if it's a virus

Please don't give error messages in the form of "something
like this". That means absolutely NOTHING.

how often does that happen? thats just the general 'this programs bung
error message microsoft uses.
If you only get it every now and then, then its probably just you
computer throwing a fit due to you opening too much or something...
though I suggest you run a program like adaware and a virus scan jus
to check if there is anything lurking around making it stuff up...
but I can't really help you beyond that with so little information :
