Excel Calculations
Posted by Elder Macoy on May 3rd, 2004

Hi,

I have windows XP Home edition and Microsoft Excel 2002.

I use Excel for all my spreadsheets and recently a small but annoying glitch
has crept in for no apparent reason.
Twice in the last week I have noticed that the automatic calculations that I
have set to calculate changes in spreadsheets have failed to work. ( i.e.
The =f8*g8 type calculation and the subsequent calculations down the sheet
and to achieve the bottom line)

I can restore the automatic calculation by "Tools>Options>Calculations>check
Automatic" but by this time all previous input for automatic calculation has
been lost and I have reset everything.

Any input would be appreciated.

Ernie.

Hi

You might want to ask at an Excel news group if you haven't already.
Or search Google's archives.

microsoft.public.excel.*
microsoft.public.excel.misc
microsoft.public.excel.worksheet.functions
