- firewall/router question
- Posted by bhb on October 2nd, 2004
I use cable internet that runs through a Netgear RP 614 wired router. Do I
also need another firewall or does this router work sufficiently enough as
a firewall? OS XP Thanks.

All you really need is a good AV behind the NAT router and do a little
*hardening* of the XP O/S.

You can always supplement the NAT router with IPsec using the AnalogX
setup.
