Are all flash, jump, whatever, etc. drives created about equal? Any
opinions on which brands are best? I am mainly using it for home
computer to work computer documents and spreadsheets, some photo
storage. Are they compatible between different operating systems (XP to
98SE, to NT?
Thanks for any info.

I have both a Kingston, and a Sandisk. They are both great, and I cannot see
anything wrong with them. I had these for a long time. It must be more than
a year, and I use them almost every day. Each of them are a 256 mb. I found
that I can never have enough space in a drive like this. It is best to get
the biggest one you can. Two of them gives some added flexibility.

I got a cheap one - has no brand name on it - and it only worked for a few
months then failed.
