- Flash Screen With "Command Prompt"
- Posted by Harry on March 5th, 2005
Hi,
I did not know what I've done today; I think I've downloaded something.
A few second later, a flash screen with a black Command Prompt Dialog screen
about 1/1000 sec. duration appeared every 45 seconds.
Can some one please help me to get rid of this annoying thing?? Please!!
My OS is Win XP SP2, NAV2005.

This sounds like some kind of Trojan. I would be curious to know what
you downloaded!
You have to be careful these days, that whatever you download, is safe!
Restart the machine in the safe mode, and run Spybot, and Adaware to see
if these will find and clean up what you got. Also, run your virus
scanner as well. You may be in for a big adventure here.

What's wrong with the signature? I've had it like this for years, and
nobody has ever complained!
How's that your name is copyright? H¹©, almost looks like H²O.

The combination of top posting with signature where you place it,
