In case you want to know why: every effort to keep this group free of
spam and other abuse is most welcome IMHO.
You did not complain about abusive language from the aforementioned
poster.
I can only say that a certain amount of jumping to (the wrong)
conclusions about others and hooliganism seems to be innate to a very
small minority of UK citizens. I must admit though that some scientists
argue that this is a side-effect of being over-zealous when it comes to
the use of non-Microsoft operating systems.
