- ftp permissions problem
- Posted by Paul Eden on September 7th, 2003
Hi,
I need to delete a load of stuff from my ftp remote server. BlazeFTP , is
great for deleting big, deep directory trees.
But now I'm getting some permissions problems that I need help with.
When it's trying to delete files, the server gives the reply;
550: {filepath and name): Permission denied.
Aha! I thought, so I tried to CHMOD the files, but the server gives the
reply;
550 (filename): Operation not permitted.
Please help an amateur here. What's going on?
Thanks,
Paul
