- Get webpages but no images appearing ?

Any suggestions on this
Using IE 5.5
WIN ME
Can load web pages but images don't load. However if I right click and
manually selects load image - it loads.
Have reset IE to defaults, cleared cache, etc - it's set to load images
under 'advanced' tab. No proxies or firewalls setup. Security settings set
to medium, nothing blocked, no content advisor, etc
What am I missing - sounds like a real easy setting somewhere in IE I've
forgotten ? The brain is not working today....

Go to internet settings and look at connections, check that you are not
going
through a proxy server......
Bizarre I know, but the same thing happened to me today as well.

Thanks for that - I have checked this and although there was something in
there - the proxies are already disabled so shouldn't be affecting anything
?
