How do you guys get someone else's IP address?

You'll have to explain further - what exactly are you trying to do?

get the IP address from another computer for remote access... I found I can
get it if the other PC's user sends me an email.

Depends on their email server, good services don't put your IP in the
headers. You could also have them go to whatismyip.com and tell you the
results.
