Someone at the Chicago Tribune should probably recheck this headline that
Google News has scraped from them.

I don't imagine so. Heh.
I ordered the parts to build a quad-core last night. Should be fun.

Thanks.
It should be. The question now is what to run on it that will take
advantage of the quad core, the 8GB of memory, and the SATA Raid stripe. Sadly,
the versions of Linux I like don't seem to like my RAID or my sound card (SB
Audigy ZS Gamer.) And then there's finding a good but reasonably priced video
card down the road. I have a 256mb nVidia card right now, but it's a PCI card,
and the board only has two PCI slots, so I'll have to find one that will fit
somewhere else, as I'll probably have to add a controller card too. But at least
I have the main parts coming - the CPU, the motherboard, the memory, and a good
case with a 550w PS in it. I didn't see a need for a bigger PS than that.

Heh.
I don't think mine is age so much as pain and lack of sleep. I haven't gotten to
bed before 11pm or gotten to sleep past 4am in well over a month. Sometimes I go
to bed later and get up earlier too.
This *sucks.*

If it works that way I don't hate getting old quite as much.
