- Help with Firefox problem
- Posted by vbmark on April 13th, 2005
I started up Firefox like I've done many times before but this time when
the program started it did not have a menu bar, tool bars, or anything;
they were all gone. Just an empty window was all I got and I can't get any
of the bars back.
How can I fix this?
Thank!

Ok, tried that and it just makes my entire screen white.
I also just tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that did not help.

Restore just makes it a window instead of full screen.
Tried safe mode (twice) and there is no change or difference.
I deleted all the INI files in the directory and restarted but that did
nothing.

This is the annoying "borked profile" bug in Gecko browsers. Sorry, but
you'll have to delete your current profile and make a new one.

I just deleted the default profile directory manually in Windows Explorer
then restarted Firefox.
