help stop the jumping cursor
Posted by flay on July 5th, 2004

After my PC has been in screensaver for some time, the cursor stops running
smoothly and the sound is fractured. The CD rewriter stops working. The CPU
usage reads around 20% with no programs shown as running on taskmanager.
After reboot everything appears fine again.
HELP.
I am using Windows XP and last time this happened everything locked up even
the keyboard and mouse - had to have a complete new OS installed. No virus
has been found.
Thanks in advance.

Just in case you don't understand the problem, I'll re-state it for you.

That site: http://kadaitcha.cx/troubleshoot.html#a
attempts to 'hijack' your homepage.
Perhaps you think that is funny, or, maybe that it is good so that it makes
people aware that their homepage can be changed and then they might do
something about it.
I'll bet that most others don't think it's funny.

Really? That's certainly strange. That website makes no attempt to
hijack *my* browser nor, most likely, anyone else's. It must only
hijack *yours*. What a unique individual you are!
