Hidden Layered Window

Powering down my PC (running XP SP2) I get an error, "Cannot close hidden
layered window."

Is this a legit process or some bugware?

TIA

This is your Voluminous Infestation and Replication Underlay Service.
This service is an integral part of all Microsoft operating systems and
cannot be disabled without sacrificing the friendliness and overall
quality of your day-to-day Windows computing experience.

If you experience this error when shutting down your PC, do not be
alarmed -- this is normal behaviour.

The service *must* be allowed to terminate gracefully on it's own time.
Otherwise, some of your favourite applications (such as Bonzai Buddy and
Incredimail E.T. Edition) may no longer work correctly.

Should the process fail to terminate within 2 hours, you will need to
reinstall Windows. Rubbing two dead chickens together may serve to
shorten this wait time by as much as 3 minutes, however this procedure
should only be performed by a qualified MCSE.

You have now reached the end of this message. Please reboot.
