- How to change which kernel in Red Hat
- Posted by Dibble Dobble on August 20th, 2005
Hi, decided to try and learn something else other than Windows.
So my other machine is now running Red Hat.
I have run up 2 date etc and everything seems to work fine.
When booting though it lists 2 items kernel 2.4.20-28.8 and 2.4.18-14.
It defaults to -14 above.
I have tried to find out how to change grub to default to -28.8 but just
can't get my head around it.
Anyone got any pointers

Typical, soon as you ask a question, the next time you google there is the
answer
