My Cho CopyCat Experience
Posted by Harry on April 22nd, 2007

Hello

I got my computer back from the repair shop and had to
change my id through my I.S.P. The Oriental fellow that
was supposed to walk me through was very hard to
understand, however after about three words, he made it
much worse by lowering and muffling his voice in the
manner Cho did in one of his scenes on tv. Finally Cho2
hung up on me. Hoping against hope to get someone other
than the Cho CopyCat, i called back, but got that same
little sucker, and had the same problem. I asked to speak to
his manager, however Cho2 came back, said he was his
“manager” and hung up on me again. I called back and got
someone else and he helped me get on the Internet at least.

The next day i couldnot get on the Internet and someone
else helped me out and to this day everything is fine, as to
getting onto the Internet. However it seems someone is
monkeying around with my computer. On the taskbar there
is a question mark and it seems to have something to do
with “language”. Now who do you suppose would do such
a thing (you get one guess)? Now today in my “Start”
popup there i find Corel Presentation 8 listed, which i
never use. Now who do you suppose would do such a thing
(you get one guess)?

Has anyone else run into a ChoCopyCat, and what did you
do to him?

Another question: how do i get rid of that question mark?
Iam afraid to touch it . . .

Sincerely

Actually, that was put there by Microsoft with the Internet Explorer 7
installation.

Probably whoever worked on your PC. Presentation 8 is not spyware, nor is it
in anyway malicious. Do you have Wordperfect on your PC? Presentation 8 (and
other stuff) probably was installed with that.

Right click on a blank part of the taskbar, and click on "Toolbars". If the
language bar is listed there, you simply remove the checkmark. If not, click
Start, Control Panel, double click "Regional and Language Options". Click
Languages tab, click Advanced, on the settings tab, at the bottom, click
language bar, turn off the checkmarks.
