IncrediMail seems to have crept onto my machine and of course there is
no apparent procedure to delete it. Reasonable suggestion(s) to
delete it would be appreciated. It does not appear in the Add/Remove
Programs.

You should have abandoned this fucking bloatware in the first place, for
crying out loud.

You *might* try using tweakui and/or removing a relevant entry from
Hkey_local_machine\software using regedit. Note: *whenever* using
regedit *always* save a copy of the registry with registry->export
registry file before you do *anything*. Other than that try Symantec's
online virus/security scans on your system. The later I would do in any
case.

There should be an uninstaller in the IncrediMail folder in the All
Programs menu.
Then you should google "uninstall IncrediMail" to get appropriate
instructions for the registry edits you'll need to do.
Some of those instructions (Microsoft's, actually) will tell you to
uninstall and reinstall OE. Don't bother. Just do the edits and you'll
be fine.

I'm glad you want to get rid of it. My 82-year-old uncle sent one of his

in size. Horrendous background, animated dancing elephants...
