- Intel 82810 onboard video
- Posted by elaich on February 16th, 2005
I have a Compaq Presario with this chipset (quite common) that has always
had this problem. Running ZSNES, certain games appear very dark, almost
black. I always assumed it was just an emulator problem. ZSNES just says
that some video cards are incompatible with their emulator.
But today, I played Final Fantasy - Endless Nova, a fan created game made
with RPGMaker 2000, and saw this same behavior. Some of the screens are
almost too dark to play. The same game works fine on another computer with
the Intel 82815 chipset.
Does anybody know of a fix? I've tried installing the chipset drivers from
Intel with no results.
