- "Loading JAVA Applet Failed"

Since my Hard Drive was replaced last year - I have had problems
loading some Java applets. I get the subject message on errors. I have
loaded the latest JRE - to no avail - is there something else I can
do? I have made sure that the Java Plug-in is using the 'Browser
Settings' for proxies.
