In order for you to get access to the internet at all, your ISP has to
issue you with an address ! Your ISP will always know who you are !
The site you are browsing will only be able to discover the address
that has been issued to you at that point when you contacted it.
Of course this assumes that you don't have a fixed IP or are on
broadband where your IP doesn't change very often !
For instance on dialup, you will be issued a new IP every time you
connect...! This IP will be within the block that your ISP holds.
Also bear in mind that a site will set a cookie that can be used to
identify you irrespective of the IP address issued to you !
There are other ways that you can be Identified uniquely as well !
Particularly if you are using Windows.

Try something like:-
http://www.unipeak.com/
I used this to get to a site which had blocked my IP (and it allowed to get
there)
however when I used it before some "what is my IP" sites could determine my
real IP
although most could not, but I am now using the site inconjunction with
anti-spyware
software (agv anti-spyware) and no site that I have tried so far can find my
real IP
address. I this is because the anti-spy stuff is blocking java, which is
what they can use
if you block your IP via a proxy server (as above), either that or the site
(above) manages to
block java too.
So with the above site and avg antispy you shoud be totally anonymous
( I also have Zone alarm pro running too which might be doing something) but
anyway
you need to test if your real IP can be determined here:-
http://www.stayinvisible.com/cgi-bin/iptest.cgi
(you can use "ipconfig" in MSDOS to find your true IP address)
I don't know what you mean by 'technical support' what more would you need.
Of course it will only work for browsing, using other programs might reveal
it,
such as Outlook Express or messanger programs.
