Can someone remind me how to set up a message rule in outlook express where
the message body contains certain words therefore then deleting the
offending mail. Tried to set up on my sisters pc but the mail is still going
into the inbox must be doing something wrong.

If you can't fathom picking the rule "where the message body contains" and then
choosing the word that you want to filter on, then you are likely to find it
difficult to follow instructions.

When you set up a rule, you should generally include
'Stop processing more rules', as this can interfere with
previous rules. Try that on all of your rules.

Bigfred,
Message->Create rule from message
In section 1:
Untick "Where the from line contains people" and tick "Where the
message body contains specific words"
In section 2:
Tick "Delete it"
In section 3:
Click on "contains specific words" and enter the words clicking "add"
Cick "OK" and again.

The filters listing is also sequential; you have to make sure the
message isn't being affected by a previous filter. If it is, move it up
the list.
Of course, any filter can only look for the EXACT phrase you enter.

Just to add to this good advice, don't forget the 'and stop processing more
rules' element of message rules. It's very useful on a white list, for
example.
