What sort of noise, is it a speaker - mic feedback? Post back with more
detail.

Hello,
In most operating systems, double click the speaker in the system tray. Look
at Options and select record if the
microphone is not listed. Once you can see the microphone control slider,
bring it down until the feedback goes
away. Then it's just a matter of adjusting Pal Talk's Microphone input until
you have an acceptable balance.
Keep in mind that you may have to go back to the speaker icon and readjust
as necessary.
If the speaker is not displayed go to control panel and click on Multimedia
and Sounds and place a check mark
to show it on the task bar.

My name is the same one that I've used in this newsgroup for years;
and what the fuck does difference does it make? Would knowing my name
give you magic powers? Would you look me up in the phone book and leave
dog poop on my porch?
Names are highly over-rated. Yours, for example, doesn't mean a damn
thing to me.

Get stuffed, fool.

In this case, trout's right in every possible sense, and all you've done
here is heap upon us all a stinking, steaming pile of additional evidence
proving your ignorance, intolerance and stupidity.

Perhaps you should consider the same, fuckwit.

trout was entirely correct. You, on the other hand...

Top-posting has always been accepted in this newsgroup as a service to those who
use text-to-speech readers. Apparently, you either haven't been in 24HSHD long
enough to know that, or you're just looking for an excuse to make yourself look
foolish.

Perhaps you should lurk a bit more.

Gee whiz, it must have been so lightweight it floated right by.
