Microsoft Updates
Posted by Saul Reiss on April 15th, 2006

The last group of microsoft updates that I downloaded upon recommendation
from Microsoft that updates are available for my computer, caused a problem.
Windows XP home, Pentium 4 2.4 ghts. 1024 mgs of memory ram. After
downloading the updates and restarting my computer as instructed, each time
I went into windows explorer my computer froze and had to end task and then
reboot. The only help was to do a system restore but I inadvertantly did
that and downloaded the updates again not knowing that it was the problem.
So the same thing happened. Another system restore and did not download the
latest group of updates and now my computer is fine again. One or more of
those recommended updates bashes my computer. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks guys.

If you got Windows updates recently, you probably need to uninstall the
KB908531 update.
