Who is he and why is he so angry? Seems more arsed about NG etiquette and
causing arguments than helping people.

Is he a moderator of this newsgroup? If not, i think he should fek right
off.

"So, Mr Slumpy you *really* are the perpetual comedian, aren't you ?" I
threw back my head and roared with laughter as Craig Stephens continued:

Oh dear, you really have to learn a bit before opening your mouth wider than
the Mersey Tunnel and putting both feet in there. Then again, maybe they are
better off there than anywhere else.

That way nobody has to read such fuckin drivel from an obvious N00b, who
doesn't know (*obviously* doesn't know) what he is talking about.

Now fuck off, and don't expect any help at all....

Never heard of a 'MIke' in this group, and even if there
was, he would probably think that you (with your grand
total of 5 previous posts to this group), should fek right
off, too.

I'd guess it has something to do with the complaints of mouthy
assholes that have do idea what they're talking about.

You are clearly an idiot.

Who cares what you think? What use have you been to anyone?

follows up and doesn't just post links if your question is more in depth.
If you have further questions, he's right back with the answers or to let
you know where to find the answers. And you know what else? He does it for
free, as does everyone else here. So why don't you just fuck off.

Eight whole posts, and you're ready to moderate 24HSHD.

Here's a free clue:

http://www.dickalba.demon.co.uk/usenet/guide/guide.html

"A newsgroup is an already existing community of people into which you have just
walked.
Many of the people posting regularly there have been doing so for a long
time, they will have established relationships with each other, many will be
friends offline. It is up to you to fit in with them, not for them to adapt to
suit you. Before you post your first message, lurk for a while. Forget any bad
ideas you might have about the word 'lurk' - online it simply means to read
without posting. By doing this, you will get a feel for the culture of the
group, who the regular posters are, who is likely to be friendly, who is likely
to be rude, what the group regards as acceptable in terms of thread drift,
off-topic posts etc. Every newsgroup is different so get a feel for the culture
before jumping in."

Since you didn't bother, you look the fool, and not °Mike°.

"But, since your post proves you to be the fool, I don't expect the clue to sink
in. I'm beginning to wonder if there's something about being on Pipex that makes
people's brains leak out of their ears. Thanks for reinforcing that theory."

"And I'd give 50-to-one odds that anyone who's been in 24HSHD for awhile will
disagree. I'd even wager they wish YOU'D "fek off," or at least get a clue."

Whatever happened to "if you don't have anything good to say then don't say
anything at all"? And, that should apply to Mike as well. Some of us are
looking for answers, not to be criticized.

Good luck,

Laffctx
