I have a 5 button mouse but instead of the 2 side buttons being back and
forward i want them to act as if i was pressing an f-key (to help with a
game i play) i also want the mouse wheel to act as an f -key when pressed, i
know it can be changed to this way but cant find anwhere to do it.

I guess u may be using a logitech mx 500 or 700 or something similar.
I have the mx 700
I think to get them to work in game, u have to install the mouse software
that came with it.
What game are u trying to get in to run with???

Brilliant. You've given far too much information here. What you should
have done it just say which mouse you have and which software you want
to remap the buttons for.
