- MS Office 2003 Email
- Posted by alan on February 2nd, 2007
Hi
I've got MS Office 2003 on my PC, with the usual tools such as; Word, SS,
Access, Powerpoint, Publisher and Outlook 2003.
I've also got MS Outlook on the Desktop and have to use that. But I've tried
always to get the MS Office Outlook to work without success. Do I have to
remove the old MS Outlook for it work?
Everything is legal, and running a Pentium 4 with MS XP.
Thanks
Alan

X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.3028
Outlook OL is a MAPI messaging client for/of the Office suite.
Outlook Express OE is not Outlook OL. OE is not a MAPI client, OE is a
mail and news client which is a 'creature'/feature of IE Internet
Explorer. OE & OL are vastly different from each other, but often
confused. OL does not natively do newsgroups.
IE can be configured to call OL instead of OE in IE/ Tools/ Options/
Programs tab - E-mail section.
