Your BIOS does not seem to know that you do not have a floppy drive. If you
explain the situation to it correctly it should stop telling you that it
cannot find it.

I.e. go into the BIOS and set it for no floppy drive installed.

you can get this error when the floppy drive cable isn't attached to the
motherboard properly.

although you're machine is prob under warranty (and so you maybe ought to
have a help line or warranty phone support number) try this.

Take the cable off from the floppy drive and the mb and re-attach it (while
your pc is off of course) and then reboot.

You're getting this message because in the CMOS in Standard Settings,
it has a floppy drive specified. Go into CMOS settings (press DEL at
bootup) and into Standard Settings. Go down to the Drive A part and set
it to non.

Thats exactly why i sent them an email of complaint. If they weren't so damn
lazy they would have sorted it out them selves. They also left one of there
back up cd's in my cd drive, looked like they rushed my pc together
