- Neil Young

I caught this Neil Young song on the radio. Basic 3 piece band very nice
sound that
mentions "save the planet for another day" with Neil during parts of the
music comments
via an amplified megaphone which sounded so cool. Anybody know the name
of the song or
the CD its on? It's about ten minutes long.

Yeah that's it. I remember the Alaska parts now. Thanks so much. It's
one of the best
compositions I've ever heard from _any_ artist. It's so amazing what a
good three piece band can do if they're good, RUSH for example, ZZTop is
another. Of course if you got
two lead guitars the Dead come to mind. Thanks again.

Neil Young rocks!
I have 3 cherished guitar picks of his I picked up from the stage right
after he walked off one nite in 1992. One was worn down to a nub. He's ROUGH
on guitar picks!
But oh, how cool to have 'em.

I'm teaching my daughter how to drive, so I used the below info to have
her drive me to a place that sells CDs. I got it, put it in the cars
cdrom player, hit #10 for the song, and started listening. 30 seconds
later she asked me if its a 60s song as its an "environmental"
composition and she knows that was my career before PCs. The darn song
was written in 2003. Still cant beat that its only 3 guys doing it with
just their backup vocals group. It's the sort of rock and roll that got
me hooked on basic rock and roll. My current favourite is still punk
tho.....ie fast and loud rock/roll
