hi all, i have a usb cable modem all runs well untill i plug something into
my network card then my internet connections gets cut off. It seems to me
like the network card some how over rides the usb port and try to take
control of the internet, or something like that. as you can tell i am not
too good with pc's, but i would still like your help. Thanks

Model?

Plug 'something' what into the network card? All you should have, is
the CM USB connection.

Use a different USB port. Buy a USB plug in card for more ports. Is it
on an external USB hub?

If the CM can has an Ethernet port, get a cheap Ethernet network card
(and cable) and use that instead of USB.

Control of the Internet, so it's you then.
