- Network settings
- Posted by Rob Ricci on November 11th, 2003
Hi all. I just got a new laptop along with a Linksys wireless router.
I hooked up the router and can connect to the Internet just fine on
either machine. However, I want to beable to access my files on my
desktop through the wirelsee connection. I've tried EVERYTHING I could
think of.
Some of the things I've done is:
Go to WIndows Explorer and made my C: on my desktop share enabled.
Ran the Network Wizrd on my laptop
Read the help files and tried to do what they said with NO luck
Im obviously new to home networks. Can anyone help? I have XP Home
rumming on both machines.
