my new toshiba 512MB ram, 60 gig hd, windows home xp, has an annoying
pause. Often it freezes for 10-30sec. I unloaded all but a few of
the program that autostart on the system, but it did not help much. I
looked at the events viewer but did not see anything that I suspected.
could it just be that the Celeron M are not very good at multi
tasking? I was only running firefox outlook and excell at the same
time (nothing that requires much resources).

excel can choke a pc....
