Sorry I cannot help but why only a 1.2? It`s so 3 years ago.
It would be false economy if you bought a cheap motherboard and chip this
slow today. The memory for a 1.2 would be slow memory and if later youu
upgraded to a faster proccessor then your memory would most proberly be too
slow or useless. Unless your doing very basic stuff. Most PC`s have loads of
programmes running at the same time. A 1.2 running these large memory and
proccessor hungry programmes would slow right down.

I think you missed his point Ian. It seems like he is upgrading from a 1.2
to something faster, not to a 1.2 from something slower.
