Same problem here Jason, anxious to develop newly aquired skills? I'm

I'd advise you to respond properly to the newsgroup thread you're
responding to, and include the original post in your response so that
everybody knows who and what you are responding to. For instance, I don't
know who Jason is or what problem he was having, based on what you've just
posted.
Here's how: Under Tools|Options, click on the Send tab. Make sure there
is a checkmark next to "Include message in reply." Then, when responding
to a post (try it with my post now,) click on "Reply Group" and type in
your words of wisdom.

Mike gave me just what I was looking for. I went to
http://netscan.research.microsoft.com/ and did a monthly post search
for the works "alt." and "a" "e" "i" and the top posted newsgroup came up.
