NewsProxy had been working great for me for more than a year but recently I
deleted it. Now that it is reinstalled it will not work. I have configured
it as I should (under the "network" tab of edit I entered my news server. .
..news.west.earthlink.net). Then I added the exact filters that worked so
well for me on the last install. Finally, I went to my accounts sections in
Outlook Express and made the changes necessary there for news -- changing
the server to "localhost" (without the quote symbols).
Now when I attempt to run it the same message keeps coming up:
Error code 502
Too many connections
(or words to that effect)
What might I be doing wrong?
